Alleviating Hunger and Need in Greene County
Our Mission is: To alleviate hunger and need within Greene County by acquiring and distributing food and care items to those in need. Unconditional love for our fellow man is the value at the core of the mission of FISH.
Unconditional love, or charity, always brings about good – it never fails.
As of January 2025 the pantry has:
Used over 23,000 volunteer hours from 170 volunteers in the past 12 months
Served over 1,964,480 lbs of food in the past 12 months
Served over 14,032 households in 2024 Down from 2023 because we had to limit visits to once every 4 weeks
Served over 500 Veterans and active duty military families since the program started
Served between 1100 and 1200 families a month
